Biography:

Alec has been a clinical research assistant in the Sleepy Brain Lab since 2023. Prior to the lab, he conducted extensive research as an undergraduate in both microbiology studying E.coli and in cognitive psychology, studying the effects of stress on cognitive domains such as memory and attention. He aids the lab in subject screening, study development, operating EEG machines and data collection and analysis. Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing the guitar, reading and traveling.
